Pepa Tomate Mandri participates in the Route of Bacallà 2017
The Grup Pepa Tomate is added once more to the Route of Bacallà 2017, organized by the Gremi of Bacallaners de Catalunya, with the collaboration of the beer Inèdit de Damm and Bacallà d'Islàndia. It does so from its premises in the street of Mandri, 58, in the district of Sarrià-Sant Gervasi of Barcelona.
Thus, from 9 to 26 March, Pepa Tomate Mandri will offer a tapa made with cod adding to the gastronomic route in which some thirty restaurants and ten bacalanerias of the city of Barcelona participate.
This year the proposal created by the executive chef of the group, Pau Corderas, consists of a 'Pizza al Pil-Pil'. It is a base of Pane Carasau with a version in creamy topping format of all the ingredients that conform the Bacallà a la Barcelonina (cream of spinach to all cremat, tomato puree, compote of dried plums, brandada of cod, allioli and light PIL pil).
The pairing will be made with a Inèdit beer of 33 cl Estrella Damm. The price of the tapa with beer is 6 euros.
